Bring IT, an Oracle NetSuite ERP implementation and consulting partner, today announced that Tamara Crawford has joined the company as Health and Hospitality (H&H) Practice Leader, based in Plano, Texas. Crawford brings a rare combination of accounting, restaurant operations, and SaaS experience to the role.
Crawford spent the last four years as a Senior Solutions Consultant at Oracle NetSuite, working presales to turn Hospitality client requirements into real deployments. Before that, she built the onboarding process CPA firms used at Restaurant365 to move onto restaurant accounting technology. And before either of those, she was the operator, owning both accounting and day-to-day operations as an Accounting Manager and later VP of Finance for restaurant groups that owned dozens of locations outright, including Austin’s Pizza, Twin Peaks, Velvet Taco, and La Madeleine. Few people have sold SaaS, built process to support it, and run operations that depend on it. Crawford has done all three.
At Bring IT, Crawford is the first person to hold the H&H Practice Leader title, guiding a practice where Bring IT has already built real depth, including its Hotel 360 SuiteApp for hospitality integrations and its Franchise 360 IP for multi-unit franchise operations. Her first priority is heading Bring IT’s early adoption of Oracle NetSuite’s new Restaurant Operations SuiteApp, known internally as ONRO, which brings native inventory and labor tracking down to the individual ticket inside NetSuite.
“Up until now, NetSuite was challenged to offer native inventory management for restaurant operators inside the platform itself. You had to depend on partners for that,” said Tamara Crawford, H&H Practice Leader at Bring IT. “Prime cost, labor and food, is everything in this business. Margins don’t leave much room for error. Most ERP implementations only post summary-level detail. Now we can bring in data straight from the point of sale, down to every ticket and every menu item, so inventory updates in real time and labor costs move the moment someone clocks in or out. This closes the gap between the operators in the field and the accountants in the back office, who have historically worked off two or more disparate systems which do not always agree. This is the moment that matters most — when everyone is working off the same data.”
Bring IT’s leadership sees hiring Crawford and the early move into ONRO as another step in deepening its industry expertise.
