Think of the most crucial, developing minds in our world – children – as the roots that support the trunk that is their journey, materialized by progressive knowledge and experience. Now, think of the limbs and leaves as the generations to come that are guided by the children of today. Without constant nourishment at the root, the leaves will never thrive and the trunk will become unstable, leaving the tree to crumble. This is the same concept for sustainable development; the actions and results we will see in the future all depend on the ideals and endeavors that are forming now.
It all starts with a nurtured mind in the generations to come that are going to be change-makers and thought leaders in the industries that support sustainability…making sure they have the skills and the means to make smart decisions that will shape the future. By engaging with communities that need help locally, we can drive a global impact that can change the world.
The Pangarap Foundation
The Pangarap Foundation is an organization in the Philippines that supports children subjected to hostile and vulnerable environments, with a center dedicated for training Social Workers, Psychologists, and for performing ongoing research to strengthen their local and global influence. Their reach is centered around communities and families that are lacking the adequate resources they need to create a better life for themselves.
This organization has its own 360° perspective to sustain and improve the foundation built for nurturing and influencing the thought leaders of tomorrow to create a prosperous and progressive future for generations to come. Supporting growth and educational opportunities for children without a home, children out of school, and struggling families and communities.
Building Opportunities Together
Oracle NetSuite’s Social Impact program partners with NetSuite Alliance Partners to target social causes and NGOs around the world to provide them with pro-bono implementations and help them make a greater impact. And now, as a NetSuite Alliance partner, Bring IT is making another stride to support the revolution for equitable, inclusive sustainable development by focusing our efforts and expertise locally, with organizations like the Pangarap Foundation, to drive a global transformation.
Bring IT has made it our mission to address the global sustainability movement by focusing on the initial goals set out by the United Nations, but we are not stopping there. So, we have joined forces with Oracle’s program to dedicate even more of our time and expertise to improving the lives of disadvantaged communities in need, starting with our collaboration with the Pangarap Foundation.
While we may be concentrating our services on improving the Foundation’s financial strategies to simplify their processes for grants and donations, we hope to be able to drive a holistic impact on the organization’s productivity. If they prosper, so will the surrounding communities and families that are in dire need of their support.
Our alignment with the UN Sustainability Goals has inspired us to go above and beyond the line of duty and actively search for social causes we can support. Putting a focus on organizations like the Pangarap Foundation still allows us to work on our initial mission to create affordable and accessible clean energy and healthcare for all. By helping to enable educational opportunities for children without adequate access to it, we are giving them the tools to develop into the leaders we need that will be motivated and insightful enough to carry on our work for a better future.
Locally
Simplification is the end goal for implementations like this, making processes easier to limit stress and prioritize increasing their visibility and donor pool. It is critical for NGOs to always have information at hand and be able to stay in close contact with donors to expand their mission, vision, and impact.
Globally
Driving a global impact from local activism speaks volumes for any NGO. No matter how large or small your impact is, if you are making the world a better place, you are contributing an essential value to society and inspiring more people to jump on the bandwagon.
Expanding Our Reach
Our collaboration with Oracle NetSuite is maximizing process efficiency at the Pangarap Foundation, empowering underprivileged children to pursue their dreams through facilitated education and community engagement. Continuous education is a value Bring IT endorses, both internally and in our community, and inspires us to expand our community outreach and commitment to making the world a better place for everyone, everywhere.
Our goal is to help at least one organization, per quarter, generate everyday efficiencies to prioritize their crucial work. We want to take our impact to the next level and work with organizations that we can be hands-on with to enhance the effect we can have on their success. If we can identify NGOs that are located in cities where we have hubs, we can visit them in-person and create a lasting relationship that will allow their continuous improvement.
We will continue to illustrate for the world and for our employees why it matters to step up and step into the world of charitable sustainability. With the power of Bring IT and Oracle NetSuite, together, we will keep our efforts alive, endlessly moving on to the next way we can be involved and be the difference we want to see. This may be the first in our charitable program, but it surely is not the last.
