Interoperability is an essential asset when creating seamless communication standards and performing insightful, timely decision-making. The first step in opening the door for interoperability is enabling providers to effortlessly share data so that patients have continuity of care, no matter who they are transferred to or where they are located.


Many of us aren’t aware of the feeling of estrangement a lot of people have every day when they are marginalized just because they’re trying to be themselves, or because they look different, or come from a background that’s different from others.


It’s a lot to carry – the weight of judgement and misunderstanding from people we know and others we’ve never met – when in reality, they should feel the most liberated. Discovering who you are, who you want to be, who you choose to love, or where you come from is an empowering journey in life that should be celebrated.


Creating an accepting environment and encouraging confidence for you to “Be Yourself” enables you to thrive in the workplace and in life. Some people still don’t know how to foster this sort of environment, but that doesn’t mean they don’t want to find out. Learning how to do this means taking the time to engage with people who have struggled and understand the importance of embracing change and a new point of view. This all may take some time, because ultimately you may be changing your entire outlook on life to foster acceptance for others and, potentially, for yourself.


Opening up and being vulnerable and authentic shows bravery and confidence, and accepting others just as they are, are all the makings of a strong leader. Remember, everyone has the power to make a difference, especially if they’re doing it as themselves….

The Mental Impacts

Showing acceptance can have a deeper impact on people than meets the eye, and how that acceptance is communicated has a crucial impact on leading the way for inclusivity as well.

Protecting mental health for everyone is a driving factor in fostering acceptance, love, and confidence for you to “Be Yourself.” If your mental health is unstable, so is your ability to make a positive impact and be happy and potentially affecting your self-confidence – whether that’s in your appearance, your desire to speak up and be yourself, or your performance at work.


Falling into a depressive mental state is a process. Tension starts to build up from oppressed emotions, bad habits start to form and negative thoughts persist, and now you’re stuck in a trench that has no ladder to escape with, or tunnel to lead you out. That is when you have to start digging a tunnel yourself to find a new path that will lead you to an environment where you feel free and are surrounded by people who respect your emotions enough to let them breathe and prevent that built up tension.


The negative mental impacts of hiding who you are and bottling up overpowering emotions for years far outweigh negative reactions from others, as they can be ignored…but how you feel and who you are can’t and shouldn’t be ignored. So, just “Be Yourself” and know that there are so many people in this world that accept you for who you are and respect you for the leader you are becoming by sharing your story. And just know that those people are also a part of your Bring IT family.


It’s your journey, and you should feel empowered to live it authentically.

Pride is about developing a ceaseless revolution for the people that have been fighting for their unprejudiced freedom their entire lives – a revolution for the LGBTQIA+ community that has been fighting that fight for a millennium. Pride originated as a riot for freedom. This freedom to be seen as who you are and be treated with equality is a revolution we are actively fighting for, for the people that make up your company culture and help strengthen its core values.


Surrounding yourself with the right resources and the people who respect you and appreciate you just the way you are, at work and in life is crucial for your mental health and well-being…we want to be that resource for you at Bring IT.
